Welcome to the Massey Archery Club

Massey Archery Club is a field archery club and as such nearly all shooting is done outdoors in fields and natural bush settings. As well as practice facilities, there is a Bow Hunter courses and an IFAA course.

For those competitors who want to take the sport to a national or international level, there is every opportunity at the Club. Some of our members are, or have been national or international champions with several members still holding New Zealand records.

Absolutely anyone can take up archery, and Massey Archery Club always welcomes new members and visitors from other clubs. We hope to see you soon.

Our Courses

Animal / Bowhunter

Bowhunter is shot at animal targets at unmarked distances. Rounds consist of 28 targets set out in the bush to simulate bowhunting situations. A maximum of 3 arrows are shot at each target. The Club uses the ANZUS round as the standard round for most club shoots.

IFAA

International Field Archery Association (IFAA) rounds are internationally recognised shoots at both known and unknown distances. Rounds typically comprise 28 targets, with up to four arrows shot at outdoor targets and five at indoor targets. Targets range from round paper targets to 2D or 3D animals.

Guest Shooting Fee

Course fees of $25 are payable by non-members only.
Payments can be made to the Registrar on Sunday or paid online here.
Note: Non-members can only shoot with a club member in attendance.
